Do you want to hit the ball longer? Are you trying to become a better ball striker with greater consistency? Or are you trying to play through a healthy season without injury and pain?
Give yourself the advantage of personalized, golf specific physical training
Birdie Builders is a personal training, fitness, and performance facility built specifically for golfers. There are fundamental differences between the physical stresses at play in golf versus other sports, and so physical training for golfers must acknowledge and reflect this. At Birdie Builders, the focus is to make sure that every player has a program designed to maximize the necessary mobility, power production, balance, and coordination required to play their best golf.
Every program is individualized to the needs and goals of the player. Baseline testing includes player history, a comprehensive physical assessment, launch monitor data, and biomechanical video swing analysis on our simulator to determine ideal exercise and training parameters
Analysis and all training sessions are conducted by Dr. Timothy Gould
At Birdie Builders, each golfer begins with a physical assessment to determine their ‘score’ in each of the following categories:
MOBILITY
POWER PRODUCTION
BALANCE
COORDINATION
Players then receive:
BIOMECHANICAL VIDEO SWING ANALYSIS and LAUNCH MONITOR DATA REVIEW ON SIMULATOR
The combination of physical assessment scores, launch monitor data, biomechanical swing analysis, and player goals establishes the foundation of an individualized training program
Follow up training sessions focus on addressing identified areas of need, helping the player move through a greater range of motion, generate greater swing speeds, feel more balanced, strike the ball more consistently, create a repeatable pattern, and produce a golf swing that accomplishes their on-course goals as well as one that avoids injury
